The registration fee is discounted for members of IIC and members of the IIC Italian Group (IGIIC). If you are an Instititional member of IIC and would like to purchase multiple registrations for Congress please contact the [email protected] directly.

Student places at the Congress venue itself, the Politecnico di Torino, are now fully booked. However, thanks to the generosity of the Centro Conservazione e Restauro “La Venaria Reale”, students may register to observe the congress sessions at CCR’s own auditorium by video link from the Politecnico. Further information is available here. If you would like to be put on the reserve list to attend in the Congress venue itself please contact the IIC office by email.

Castello del Valentino

There are two opportunities to visit Valentino Castle, which is one of the Residencies of Royal House of Savoy. These visits are free of charge. There are a limited number of places available.

Museo dell’Automobile

Including guided visit to the Motor Museum and to the Open Garage in the MAUTO Restoration Centre, specialising in the restoration of vintage cars.

Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento Italiano

The most important museum in Italy dedicated to the Risorgimento, the unification of Italy in the 19th century.

Musei Reali

Including visits to the Restoration Laboratory of the Archaeological Museum, the conservation of historic furnishings in the Royal Palace, the solutions adopted for the corridor leading to the Chapel of the Holy Shroud and the Beaumont Gallery of the Savoy Armoury.

Museo Nazionale del Cinema

Preventive conservation policies used in the Museum and its storage areas, followed by a visit to the Museum, concentrating on conservation aspects.

Ticketing Policy

For all tickets / places purchased each ticket applies to that named person and is not transferable to another person or group of people.

Film and Photography

Delegates are kindly reminded that professional photographers and film crew, contracted by the Organisers, will be present at this event taking pictures and video footage. This footage and these images may be used, without further notification, at a later date by IIC within the following materials and media: brochures, newsletters, marketing material, videos, hoardings, and/or as digital images such as those on the IIC website and social media channels. Please contact IIC or the Congress Organisers with any queries.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation notices must be submitted to IIC in writing ([email protected]). Refunds will be based on date the notice is received.
