- Applications now closed
This fund was established in 1990 in memory of Norman Brommelle, who was Secretary-General of IIC between 1958 and 1988. The fund is used to provide assistance for students of conservation who wish to attend the Institute’s international congresses. Students are defined as those enrolled in a full-time course of conservation training leading to a recognised academic qualification. Students may apply at any time during their course of study, including their final year or internship. Applicants must be a currently paid-up member of IIC. The Fund will normally provide only a part of the total cost of attending the congress and it is important that students should attempt to obtain additional funding from elsewhere.
